Before You Submit Your Ad... REMEMBER, THIS IS FREE!!!! no strings attached. Notes for Commissioners 1.When you submit an ad, make sure you include: the league's name, the sport and type of league (Roti, Sim, etc.) being played; any requirements players must meet (such as software); an outline of the fee structure (if any); and a way to contact you for more information (an email address, webpage or phone number). I MAY REQUEST FURTHER INFORMATION. IF I DO NOT RECEIVE IT AND I DEEM THAT INFORMATION VITAL TO THE AD, I WILL NOT LIST YOUR AD. Please don't expect me to look at your webpage and make the ad from that--I don't intend to spend half my life wandering around websites looking for league names and formats. 2.Please read over the existing classifieds before you write your ad. Please note that they're all listed in neutral language. I will not list any ad written in breathless, detergent-ad language. 3.I reserve the right to refuse any ad for any reason I deem fit. These reasons can include, but are not limited to: vague or misleading language, obvious innaccuracies, unsubstantiated claims, a record of ripping off clients, etc. I also reserve the right to edit any ad submitted for clarity, brevity, grammar, style, etc. 4.Ads stay up until their owners ask me to remove them. 5.This is a FREE service, but I respectfully ask all listors with webpages to provide a link to the Classifieds in return for the listing. The URL is http://members.tripod.com/~puckpages/classifieds.html 6.Although I accept third-person ads (one person submitting me an ad on the approval of his commissioner), I will not list them until I have received an email confirmation from the actual commish that the info is correct and that the commish wants the listing made. (Generally, I'll email the commish listed in the ad. If I get no reply, I won't accept the ad.)> Notes for Players 1.When you submit an ad, make sure you include: the sport and type of league (Roti, Sim, etc.) you wish to join; whether you're willing to pay entry fees; and a way to contact you for more information (an email address, webpage or phone number). 2.I reserve the right to refuse any ad for any reason I deem fit. I also reserve the right to edit submitted ads for clarity, brevity, grammar, etc. 3.Ads stay up until their owners ask me to remove them. 4.This is a FREE service, but I respectfully ask all listors with webpages to provide a link to the Classifieds in return for the listing. 5.Unlike league listings, I will not accept third-party ads for individuals. (I don't want to be accused of unknowing participation in a mailbomb.) If you're borrowing someone else's acct, that's one thing. If you're asking me to redirect to an account that's clearly not yours, that's another.
